Transformer tanks

The company Končar - Metalne konstrukcije produces transformer tanks for power and traction transformers made of steel and aluminum. Beside the mild steel and aluminum in the production of transformer tanks we use fine grained steel, non-magnetic materials and copper.

We weld all the mentioned materials with the SAW, MIG, MAG and TIG procedures.

After the welding process, we test the leakage by means of pressure testing and the welding seam by means of penetrant fluids and magnetic particle flux.

Prior to the sandblasting, we perform the functional and dimensional testing by means of a trial assembly of the complete tank.

The 5-years corrosion protection warranty is based on the reached technological conditions and skilled workers.
